Photography rooted in our soil

Shobha Digital Studio is led by Devanand Bhat, a photographer and Yakshagana artist from Belvai. That double life — behind the camera and on the stage — shapes the way we see an event: with patience, with feeling, and with a deep respect for the traditions of Dakshina Kannada.

From the temple festivals and Nagamandalas of our coast to weddings, naming ceremonies and a child's very first portrait, we have spent years learning when to step forward and when to simply let a moment be. Every frame we make is meant to be looked at again, decades from now, and still feel alive.
